Copyright Guide
What contributors need to know about original work, copyright, and intellectual property on EduMarket.
Every resource uploaded to EduMarket must be your own original work, or material you have clear rights to distribute. This means your own notes, your own worked solutions, and your own summaries — not textbook scans, copied slides, or another student's uploaded work reproduced without permission.
Past exam papers are generally acceptable to upload if they're publicly available through your university's own channels, but the accompanying solutions and explanations should be your own. When in doubt about whether something is appropriate to upload, our Quality Standards and Contributor Agreement provide more detail, and Support can clarify specific cases.
Contributors found to be uploading copyrighted or plagiarized material will have listings removed and may lose contributor status. See our DMCA Notice for how copyright claims involving EduMarket content are handled.
