Verification Guide

How contributor verification works on EduMarket and what to expect during the process.

Verification exists to protect students by ensuring contributors are who they say they are and have genuine academic standing to back their resources. When you apply to become a contributor, we ask for basic identity information and, where relevant, proof of enrollment or academic affiliation.

Most applications are reviewed within a few business days. Once verified, your account is marked with a verified badge visible to students, which builds trust and typically improves conversion on your listings.

Verification is a one-time process, though we may periodically ask contributors to reconfirm details, particularly for accounts with elevated permissions such as bulk uploads or faculty partnerships. If your application is delayed or declined, Support can explain next steps and what additional information may be needed.
